a Grand Old Time at Maspeth Festival

Bright sunny skies greeted hundreds of residents who browsed and shopped at the Grand Avenue Festival along Grand Avenue between 65th and 72nd streets in Maspeth on Sunday, June 1. The festival was sponsored by the Maspeth Chamber of Commerce in cooperation with the Kiwanis Club of Maspeth and the Maspeth Lions Club. The Times Newsweekly was among the other organizations co-sponsoring the festivities.
