Bushwick Burglars Let Themselves In

Swipe Television, Other Items From Apartment

Detectives are continuing to search for two men connected to a burglary at a Bushwick apartment last month, it was reported.

Law enforcement sources said the duo broke into an apartment in the vicinity of Willoughby and Myrtle avenues at 4 a.m. on the morning of Sept. 13. No one was home at the time of the incident, it was noted.

Reportedly, one of the perpetrators climbed through a rear window and then let the second suspect in through the front door.

Authorities stated the suspects removed a 32-inch Samsung television along with assorted clothing and jewelry, then fled in an unknown direction on foot.

The incident was later reported to the 83rd Precinct.

During its investigation, police recovered security camera video containing footage of one of the suspects, who is described as a male with black hair wearing a tshirt. The NYPD released his image in announcing the burglary last Wednesday night, Sept. 24.

His accomplice, whom authorities identified as the window-climbing crook (at right), was described as a male wearing a hooded sweatshirt and dark pants, authorities noted.

The 83rd Precinct Detective Squad’s investigation continues as of press time Wednesday, Oct. 1, police said.
