Five people were hospitalized with injuries after a truck lost control and slammed into a bagel store in Forest Hills last Wednesday morning, Oct. 8, Fire Department sources said. Reportedly, the accident occurred at about 10:15 a.m. at the corner of Queens Boulevard and 76th Avenue. Responding to the scene (listed in the order of arrival ) were Engine companies 305, 315, 298 and 294; Ladder companies 151, 143 and 127; Squad Co. 270; Rescue 4; Battalion 50, the 112th Precinct and NYPD Emergency Services Unit 10. Each of the victims were removed with injuries not considered life-threatening, it was reported.
