Stammtisch Pork Store in Glendale — which is run by neighboring Zum Stammtisch restaurant — is giving people from all across the country a chance to eat their tasty German delights with the launch of their new online store.
Ever since the Stammtisch Pork Store opened in March 2011, people from Glendale, the surrounding communities and across the country have flocked to the delicatessen to grab their favorite German grub. Now the deli will be sending out shipments twice a week — on Tuesdays and Wednesdays — to anywhere in the continental United States.
Stammtisch Store offers everything from sausages, gravies and sauces, seasonings, jellies and jams, baking products, cheese, fish, smoked and dried meats, sweets and snacks, and even some of the favorites from Zum Stammtisch restaurant.
They even have a clothing, accessory and gift section so you can take your favorite German items with you wherever you go, as well as a health and beauty section with soaps, shampoos and vitamins from Germany and Europe.
According to the website, Stammtisch Store is currently taking orders 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Once a customer’s order is filled, they will receive an email confirmation with tracking information. When customers receive their order, there will be instructions with each perishable product informing them on how best to defrost and serve the German food.
The website offers a free newsletter so customers can stay informed on the latest sales and news, as well as a section called “The Butcher’s Blog,” which features interesting stories and delicious recipes.
