The Center for the Women of New York is holding its 9th Annual Fort Totten Walkathon Saturday to raise money for their organization.
A fee of $20 is required to walk the route, and additional donations are accepted for the march along Fort Totten Park.
CWNY was founded by Ann Jawin in 1987 to provide assistance to victims of domestic abuse through support groups and job training. Currently housed in Queens Borough Hall, CWNY is currently renovating what will soon be their new facility in Fort Totten.
The walkathon will begin at 8 a.m. and ends at around 12:30 p.m.
