Slasher sought for assaulting man with a razor blade at an Elmhurst nightclub

Detectives need your help in finding a man who slashed an Elmhurst club patron in the face earlier this week.

Police said the assault took place at 3:35 a.m. on Dec. 17 inside of Club Amadeus located at 79-51 Albion Ave., near Queens Boulevard.

According to law enforcement sources, the suspect got into an argument with the 34-year-old male victim, then pulled out a razor blade and slashed his right cheek. The assailant then fled the scene to parts unknown.

Officers from the 110th Precinct and EMS units responded to the incident. Paramedics brought the victim to Elmhurst Hospital for treatment.

A wanted flier posted on the 110th Precinct Twitter account described the suspect as a black or Hispanic man with medium-length dreadlocks and is said to weigh 240 pounds.
