An Astoria apartment building with great views of Manhattan sold last month for a huge asking price.

Located at 18-05 Ditmars Blvd., the 20-unit pre-war building sold on Dec. 10 for $6.2 million to an all-cash buyer, a subsidiary of Fairfield Properties, which is based on Long Island.

Originally built in 1927, the building houses 20 one-bedroom units, seven of which were vacant at the time of the sale. Situated on the corner of Ditmars and Shore boulevards, the building us right across the street from Astoria Park to the south and the East River to the west.

Most of the apartments and the rooftop, according to Douglas Elliman Real Estate, have unobstructed views of upper and lower Manhattan. The building is also nearby local shops, major roadways and public transportation, including subways, buses and Citi Bike.

The deal was brokered on both sides by Steven Llorens of Douglas Elliman Real Estate.
