Police are investigating the death of a man who was found with head trauma on an Astoria street on Friday afternoon.
According to authorities, at 12:47 p.m. on May 10, police responded to a 911 call regarding an unconscious man at 25th Avenue and 46th Street. Upon their arrival, officers from the 114th Precinct found the victim lying on the ground, unconscious and unresponsive.
Police said that the victim, who has not yet been identified, appeared to be in his 60s and suffered head trauma. Paramedics responded to the location and pronounced the victim dead at the scene.
No arrests have been made at this time. The investigation is ongoing.
