Police from the 102nd Precinct are searching for the trio believed to be behind the Aug. 14 robbery of a corner store on Jamaica Avenue in Woodhaven.

Police say a 20-year-old man was working inside the Convenience and Exotic store, located at 88-01 Jamaica Ave., at approximately 11:15 p.m., when the three unidentified men entered.

One of the men displayed a gun and demanded cash from the worker, while one of the thieves went behind the cash register and removed approximately $1,000, police said. The third suspect blocked the entrance while the robbery took place.

The thieves also stole two iPhones, AirPods and a wallet containing debit and credit cards, police said. All three suspects fled on foot northbound on 88th Street.

There were no injuries reported as a result of the incident.

The thieves each have dark complexions, police said.

The shop was closed when QNS visited the incident address at around 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 15. QNS attempted to speak with a man who was seen unlocking the shop’s shutter doors and entering the premises for about half an hour, but he declined share any comment at this time.
