A row of stores on Woodhaven Boulevard in Rego Park are likely to face the wrecking ball, with a developer filing building permits last week to replace them with a 7-story apartment building.

Humayen Khan, the Rego Park-based developer, plans to build an 88-unit development at 62-02-62-06 Woodhaven Blvd, where four storefronts are located, including a liquor store and drug store. The building, according to the plans, would include 7,497 square feet in commercial space and 89,917 square feet for residential.

The property is located between 62nd Avenue and Dry Harbor Road and is near the Woodhaven Boulevard subway station.

The plans call for 69 enclosed parking spaces, and 69 open parking spaces.

No demolition permits have been filed.
