A Manhattan man was killed by a hit-and-run truck driver near JFK Airport on Sunday afternoon.

Police from the 113th Precinct in Jamaica responded to a 911 call of a vehicle collision on the Nassau Expressway at the exit for the JFK Expressway just before 1:30 p.m. and found 68-year-old U Fo Ng, of East Broadway on the Lower East Side, unconscious and unresponsive.

EMS responded to the scene and rushed the victim to Jamaica Hospital Medical Center where he was pronounced dead a short while later.

Further investigation by the NYPD’s Highway District Collision Investigation Squad determined that Ng was in a Honda CRV that he parked on the shoulder when he was struck by the driver of a box truck who was traveling eastbound on the Nassau Expressway and failed to navigate the roadway, police said. The driver sped away from the scene.

There are no arrests and the investigation remains ongoing.
