Chairman Matthew Bruderman and Nassau County Executive Bruce Blakeman were present to honor the graduates. Both leaders delivered speeches praising the residents for their hard work and achievements.

The highlight of the ceremony was the keynote address by Nassau County Civil Service Commissioner Steven Markowitz. In a moving recount of his personal connection to NUMC, Markowitz shared the story of his wife’s exceptional inpatient care at the medical center. His testimony served as a powerful reminder of NUMC’s dedication to excellence in patient care and its profound impact on individuals and families.
