Traffic is unbearable on the overpass on 14th Avenue and the Whitestone Expressway. It takes several lights to get across.

Thanks for writing in about the traffic problem on 14th Avenue and the Whitestone Expressway. After reading your note I asked the Department of Transportation to go out and look at the situation that you described. Transportation reported that the controller was malfunctioning at this intersection, resulting in the delays you brought up. The controller has now been repaired, and traffic should be flowing smoothly. Thanks again for bringing this matter to my attention.
