In my opinion, immigration reform can only work if our nation’s southern and northern borders (including our shorelines) are electronically monitored and physically sealed by U.S. military forces. Moreover, the U.S. law enforcement agencies must be given authorization to use the Patriot Act (to track and bring to justice foreign terrorists) to reign in domestic terrorism (such as drive-by-
shootings, murder, kidnapping, armed robbery etc.) by the criminal element manifested by illegal immigrant gangs across our nation.
Without these two ingredients added to the mix, I am afraid that the immigration reform act will do little to stem the tide of foreign and domestic terrorism that enters our great nation and harms the citizens.
