Twelve youngsters from Jewish Child Care Association’s (JCCA) Bukharian Teen Lounge will participate in three exciting free performances of “108th Street, The Bukharian Way,” an interactive theater event exploring the challenges facing Bukharian immigrant teens today.
Guided by a gifted theater professional, and through a combination of music, theater, video and dance, the performances will offer insights into this younger generation’s feelings and conflicts of the immigrant experience. The program has been developed by Jewish Child Care Association’s community-building theater project, Theater for Action.
