Charles E. Maeurer passed away on June 7. Beloved father of Melissa Riffle and her husband Brendan and Charles and his girlfriend Liz. Loving boyfriend of Cathy Williams. Devoted son of Charles P. and the late Blanche. Dear brother of Diana, Carolyn Scully and her husband Tim, Bernadette Palaski and her husband Greg, and Lawrence and his wife Mary. Cherished grandfather of Liam and Emma Riffle. Also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. A memorial funeral Mass was held at St. Raphael’s R.C. Church in Long Island City. Donations to The Lustgarten Foundation for Pancreatic Cancer Research, 1111 Stewart Avenue, Bethpage, NY 11714 would be appreciated.
