Drug bust in 109 Pct.

On June 7, officers of the 109th Precinct executed a search warrant at 41-11 Parsons Boulevard, apartment 107, and arrested a mother and her two children on drug charges.
Nicholas Allen, 24 — on intensive probation for his six prior narcotics arrests — his sister, Janine Allen, 21 — on probation for a grand larceny charge (including forged checks) — and their mother, Katherine Harrison, 50, were arrested and charged with criminal possession of marijuana with intent to sell and criminal possession of drug paraphernalia.
Led by Sergeant Mike Elderbaum and Sergeant Philip Roy, the investigation, which was conducted in conjunction with the New York State Department of Probation, began three weeks ago.
While executing the search warrant on Wednesday, June 7 at 9 a.m., officers of the 109th seized drug paraphernalia, including a digital scale, packaging materials and other tools commonly associated with drug packaging and sale; a ziploc bag of what is believed to be marijuana; and $8,956 in cash from the apartment, which was in Harrison’s name.
“This building is a very nice working-class building,” said 109th Deputy Inspector Thomas G. Cea. “Our mission was to eradicate these dealers.”
“This was a nice arrest that [was] developed and executed by Sergeant Philip Roy and his team. These individuals were selling night and day in a large, working class residential apartment complex. I am proud of the excellent work being done by these officers. Flushing is a vibrant and dynamic community that enjoys an excellent reputation as a good place to work, live and raise families.”
