Patricia M. Davan (nee Murtha) passed away on July 1. Beloved wife of Robert J. (retired Capt. FDNY). Loving mother of Robert J. Jr. (retired Capt. NYPD), Dennis (teacher), Gerard (retired Lt. FDNY), Cathy Thompson (R.N.), Richard (Lt. FDNY) and Brian (Lt. FDNY). Dear sister of Thomas Murtha and Anne Walsh. Loving grandmother of 15. Arrangements were handled by the Denis S. O'Connor Funeral Home in Rockaway Beach. A funeral Mass was held at St. Francis DeSales Church. Interment was at Calverton National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the St. Francis DeSales Centennial Fund.
