With more than 9,000 students already registered for nursery school nationwide,
Kiddie Academy of Whitestone opened enrollment recently for the 2006-07 school year.
“We are very excited for fall enrollment and are looking forward to offering our program to the Whitestone community,” said Neil Colmenares, owner of Kiddie Academy of Whitestone, just one of many of the national chain of child care learning centers in the country.
The enrollment process includes a tour of the local facility, an overview of curriculum and programming, as well as the completion of several documents required by both Kiddie Academy and state licensing agencies.
“Since several states are looking into mandatory preschool, more and more parents are recognizing the benefits of early childhood education,” said Kiddie Academy President and CEO Mike Miller.
As the enrollment numbers in preschool continue to increase, Kiddie Academy's facilities across the nation will, too. There are 53 new academies in development; these will join 78 academies currently operating in 20 states across the United States. With several new academies having opened this year and many others opening in the very near future, Kiddie Academy can accept significantly more students in 2006 than it did in 2005. “Our continued expansion will accommodate the growing need for affordable, quality child care,” said Miller.
