A homeless man has been arrested and charged in connection with the six-alarm February 3 blaze in the six-story Neilson Sreet apartment building that left 200 people out in the cold.
Marcello McDonald, who allegedly started the fire in his girlfriend’s apartment because he was fed up with her alleged prostitution and drug use, now faces charges of burglary and second degree arson.
Nearly 30 residents and 20 firefighters were injured in the fire.
