Police are asking for the public’s assistance in locating three male suspects wanted in connection with an armed commercial robbery that occurred on Monday, October 29 at 145-02 14th Avenue. According to cops, the suspects entered the location, displayed a handgun and tied up the clerks before fleeing with various items and an unspecified amount of cash.
The first perpetrator is described as between 20- and 25-years-old, medium build; the second is 20 to 30, also with a medium build, mustache/beard; and the third is between 20 and 25, slim build.

Purse-snatcher grabbed
On Sunday, November 4, at 12:30 a.m. a 22-year-old Hispanic woman reported to police that a man had grabbed her purse, near 157th Street and 35th Avenue. The attack caused her to fall to the ground and suffer an ankle injury.
At 10:50 p.m. the same day, Police arrested 21-year-old Jose Ruiz, of 35-30 153rd Street, Apartment 2B. Ruiz was apprehended at 157th Street and 35th Avenue. He is charged with robbery.
