Kids join in ‘It’s My Park! Day’

The Kidz Care Junior Civic Association recently teamed up with Girl Scout Troop # 4491 for “It’s My Park! Day,” to help beautify Pebblestone Park in Forest Hills. The 24 local children planted bulbs, raked leaves and removed litter as part of a citywide appreciation of New York City Parks with the Partnership for Parks Department. The Kidz Care Junior Civic Association was formed in May of 2004 with 10 kids and there are currently 130 children in the organization.
