There are just days left to perform a small act of kindness that can make a huge impression on a child’s life this holiday season, by donating to a toy drive.
Amalgamated Bank branches in Flushing and Long Island City will be collecting toys through Friday, December 21. Donations can be dropped off at either branch.
The Flushing branch is at 158-11 Harry Van Arsdale, Jr. Avenue, and is open from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. M-F. Branch manager Frank Hanlon is working in cooperation with the 107th Precinct Council. Hanlon can be reached at 718-380-7083.
In LIC, the branch is at 36-16/18 21st Street. Hours are from 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. M-F. VP and manager Josh Andre is planning to donate the toys to the Roosevelt Island Children and Youth Center. Andre can be reached at 718-289-7600.
