Linda Robbins, 67, of Flushing, passed away on March 20.
She had worked in sales at The Queens Courier.
A devoted wife, mother and grandmother, “Linda was the kind of person if you met her — any time — you loved her immediately,” according to her husband of 47 years, Chet.
“She loved everyone,” he continued. “And she loved animals.”
Robbins went on to recall how his wife had him stop the car on the Grand Central Parkway because a dog was crossing the roadway.
She is survived by her daughters Helene and Melanie; grandsons Steven, Brandon and Dylan; and brother Fred.
Funeral arrangements were handled by Sinai Chapels. Interment was at Beth David Cemetery in Elmont.
