The Forest Hills Volunteer Ambulance Corps has some new leadership.
State Senator Serphin Maltese presided over the swearing in ceremony on Wednesday, June 25 and the new slate of officers began their new duties on July 1.
“I have a lot of experience with organizations both volunteering and professionally,” said new President Alan Wolfe. “I think that setting up a proper foundation is what will make the transition smooth and will make for a successful year.”
Many members, community leaders, and other supporters of Forest Hills VAC were also on hand to celebrate.
Borough Commander of Patrol Borough Queens North Diana Pizzuti; 112th Precinct Community Council President Heidi Harrison Chain; and Chief of Staff for Councilmember Anthony Como, James McClelland, attended the event.
