Teen Hurt After Fall Off Car

Joan Lee, 18, was allegedly critically injured on August 28 after the car she was sitting on moved forward. Lee reportedly fell to the pavement at the corner of Northern Boulevard and 160th Street and hit her head. She reportedly is suffering from a detached brainstem, a fractured skull and injuries to her vertebrae.
The driver of the vehicle, Young Yoo, 18, of Bayside, was reportedly arrested because authorities claim he pulled away knowing that Lee was on the car. He is charged with second-degree reckless endangerment and assault.
