City Council Speaker Christine Quinn (D-Manhattan) reversed her opposition to reversing term limits. This will make it easier for Mayor Michael Bloomberg to run for a third term.
Our mayor has proven time and again that he has what it takes to make those decisions that are difficult but necessary to make our city work. Now we are in hard economic times and need a mayor who knows what has to be done.
I am a fan and have been a campaign worker for the mayor and believe he loves our city. I would like to applaud Quinn for getting the ball rolling. To her, I say kudos.
