I write in praise of Ronald B. Hellman’s column “The Play’s the Thing.” Not only does he present relevant and interesting information about off−off−Broadway, but discusses critical issues affecting theatrical productions in Queens.
That such relatively small theaters, beset with recurring financial problems, often strive to offer creative, innovative and accomplished productions is a remarkable feat.
Hellman provides an insightful and valuable resource for both Queens theatergoers and the community as a whole.
