BAYSIDE — A man was robbed of two leaf blowers at gunpoint Friday on the 249th Street block of an avenue somewhere in the 111th Precinct, police said.
The man was walking to his work truck at 12:45 p.m. Friday when he saw a white Chevrolet Suburban behind the truck when two black men got out of the Suburban and opened the rear door to his truck, police said.
Police did not reveal which avenue on the 249th Street block the crime occurred on.
The man called out to the men when one of them pulled a black, semi-automatic handgun from his waistband, leading the victim to take cover, police said.
The men then entered the truck, taking out two leaf blowers before fleeing, police said.
