A man was fatally shot in the head on Sunday, July 4 at 151st Avenue and 79th Street.

According to police, a female heard a “large bang” and observed a male, identified as Christopher Castellano, face down in a large pool of blood near his vehicle, in front of his home. Officers of the 106th Precinct canvassed the area, but no arrests have been made.

The investigation continues.
