City Councilmember Jimmy Van Bramer (center) attended the closing performance by Woodside on the Move’s Summer Youth Program at P.S. 11. The performance, which took place on August 26 and was titled “Traveling Through Time,” featured musical tunes from different eras.
The summer campers danced their hearts out to the beats of swing and even disco music. The $35,000 in city funding, which Van Bramer helped secure for Woodside On The Move, will go towards youth and senior programming, supplies and staffing. – Pete Davis
