FOREST HILLS — A Forest Hills travel agent was arraigned on grand larceny and identity theft charges after he allegedly used a customer’s credit card to rack up more than $10,000 in airline tickets, the Queens district attorney’s office said.
Sunil Singh, 43, of 104-60 Queens Blvd. in Forest Hills, allegedly made eight separate charges for $10,100 in airline tickets at around 12 p.m. Dec. 31., according to the criminal complaint.
Singh allegedly admitted to making the charges but told police it was a mistake, the complaint said.
Singh was arraigned Jan. 4 on charges of grand larceny and identity theft before Queens Criminal Court Judge Suzanne Melendez, who set bail at $1,500, according to a spokeswoman for Queens DA Richard Brown.
Singh is scheduled to appear in court again Tuesday, the spokeswoman said.
