Two men were shot – one fatally – at a South Richmond Hill barber shop on Wednesday, December 29.
The incident happened at 103-14 135th Street, the Rob NG Cutz barber shop, where the victim, Gary Bowlin, 35, had reportedly been shot over the summer as he allegedly tried to halt an armed robbery.
This time, Bowlin was shot once in the head, and a second man, Cypus France, 35, took a bullet to the face and hip.
EMS responded to the scene and pronounced Bowlin dead. France was taken to Jamaica Hospital where he was listed in stable condition.
There are no arrests at this time and the investigation is ongoing.
