Families will have a chance to explore the galleries before creating art in response to what they see.

‘Windows and Mirrors’
Godwin-Ternbach Museum
Through January 30
“Windows and Mirrors: Reflections on the War in Afghanistan” will be on display at Queens College’s Godwin-Ternbach Museum, located at 65-30 Kissena Boulevard in Flushing, through January 30.
The exhibit “features 50 4’x6’ panels on parachute fabric made by an international group of artists.”
The museum is open Monday to Thursday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Saturday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.

‘The Talent Show’
MoMA P.S. 1
Through April 4
“The Talent Show” will be on display at MoMA P.S. 1, located at 22-25 Jackson Avenue in Long Island City, through April 4.
It opened on December 12 and features the work of 18 different artists. According to the museum’s web site, the exhibit “examines a range of relationships between artists, audiences and participants that model the competing desires for notoriety and privacy making our present moment.”
