A ninety-six year old Queens man was recently mugged inside his apartment building for $90.
According to a Daily News report, Alfonso Scannapieco was followed into his Woodside building by the attacker on February 10. When they reached the fifth floor the mugger grabbed Scannapieco’s money, causing him to fall backwards, and ran off.
“If I run into him, he’s got to fight me,” he said to the Daily News. “I’m still going to lose, but he’s got to fight me.”
The spunky Scannapieco was not seriously harmed in the attack
