SOUTH JAMAICA — A Brooklyn man was arrested for not paying for a room at a Double Tree Hotel, police said.
An employee of the hotel was checking rooms at around 1 p.m. when he arrived at Room 305 to find Ricardo Wisdom, 28, of 508B Howard Ave. in Brooklyn, inside, according to a criminal complaint from the Queens district attorney’s office.
Wisdom allegedly did not pay the $239 price for the room and, when questioned, said, “My promoter got me the room, his name is Tiko. He always does this for us,” according to the DA.
Wisdom was later arrested and charged with theft of services and trespassing, the DA said.
