What are they going to say when LIFO (last in first out) is modified, and there are still disastrous results from America’s pupils!?
Then will they see the light and admit to the fact that our popular culture has been, and continues to be a major, if not THE MAJOR culprit, in our educational failure?
Too much TV viewing, telephone texting, video gaming hours are spent in pursuit of entertainment by American youngsters instead of giving serious time to reading and studying!
I might add that too many American parents are complicit in this as well. They expect teachers to perform miracles with their disinterested children and somehow insert knowledge into their kids’ heads without the kids doing their much-needed part of the job!
Not only does it take two to tango, it takes two to learn. The teacher teaches, and the pupil must expend time and effort to learn!
