A new speed bump that will increase student safety near IS 125 was unveiled on Friday. At the request of IS 125, councilman Jimmy Van Bramer worked with the NYC Department of Transportation to have the speed bump installed.
The speed bump is located on 47th Street between 47th and 48th Avenue.
“Every precaution should be taken to protect pedestrians, particularly kids, from drivers who speed,” said Council Member Jimmy Van Bramer (D-26, Queens).
