Queens police precincts are getting ready for National Night Out

100th Precinct Community Council

The 100th Precinct will be hosting its National Night Out celebration Tuesday, Aug. 2, at Beach 108th Street and Shorefront Parkway/Boardwalk. It will take place from 4 p.m. -8 p.m. The night will feature a live band, face painters, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, caricature portraits and much more. For more information, call 718-318-4200.

101st Precinct Community Council

On Tuesday, Aug. 2, the National Night Out celebration will host fun-filled activities at the 101st Precinct. It will take place at Bay 32nd Street and Beach Channel Drive from 5 p.m.-9 p.m. The event will include food sponsored by Applebee’s, a bicycle raffle and Zumba fitness. 102nd Precinct Community Council

The National Night Out celebration for the 102nd Precinct will take place Tuesday, Aug. 2, from 7 p.m.-9 p.m. The event will feature live music, a women’s self-defense company, food and more at Buddy Memorial Park between Myrtle Avenue and Park Lane South. For more information, call 718-805-3200.

103rd Precinct Community Council

The 103rd Precinct National Night Out will feature music by DJ “Alvarez,” health insurance programs, crime prevention tips and a surprise entertainer. The event will take place Tuesday, Aug. 2, at Rufus King Park from 5:30 p.m.-9:30 p.m.

104th Precinct Community Council

The 104th Precinct will host its National Night Out celebration Tuesday, Aug. 2, from 5:30 p.m.-8:30 p.m. at Joseph F. Mafera Park. The event will feature health tips from health care professionals, free screenings, free rides and refreshments. For more information, call 718-386-2431.

The 105th Precinct’s National Night Out is scheduled to be held from 5 p.m.-9 p.m. at Cabell Park, at Francis Lewis Boulevard and 120th Avenue. Tuesday, Aug. 2.

106th Precinct Community Council

The National Night Out celebration for the 106th Precinct will be held Tuesday, Aug. 2, from 6 p.m.-9:30 p.m. in Centerville Park, in Ozone Park. The event will feature crime prevention information, dance classes, food and more. For more information, call 718-845-2211.

The 107th Precinct is scheduled to hold its National Night Out event starting at 7 p.m. at the Electchester Shopping Center across from 158-11 Harry van Arsdale Junior Ave. There will be music, barbecue, free flashlights and entertainment.

108th Precinct Community Council

John Andrews Playground is slated to be the site of the 108th Precinct’s National Night Out event. The playground is at 49th Avenue between Vernon Boulevard and 5th Street and is behind the 108th Precinct. The event is scheduled to run from 5 p.m.-9 p.m.

109th Precinct Community Council

The 109th Precinct will host its National Night Out at PS 20, at 142-30 Barclay Ave., from 5 p.m.-9 p.m. Don’t miss the fun activities, such as face painting, carnival games, pony rides, food and more. For more information, call 718-321-2268.

110th Precinct Community Council

Flushing Meadows Corona Park is scheduled to be the site of the 110th Precinct’s National Night Out Against Crime Tuesday, Aug. 2. The event, slated to be held from 5 p.m.-8 p.m. near the Queens Zoo on 111th Street between 54th and 55th avenues, will feature free health screenings, a crime prevention program, highway safety information, a petting zoo, bike safety, amusement rides, a clown, face painting, youth olympics, a DJ, music and dancing. In addition, Mr. Met might make an appearance.

111th Precinct Community Council

The 111th Precinct National Night Out will be held at the Douglaston Plaza shopping center Tuesday, Aug. 2, from 6 p.m.-9 p.m. There will be games, raffles, refreshments and VIN etching for bikes and vehicles. From 6 p.m.-9 p.m., MacDonald Park will be the place of the 112th Precinct’s National Night Out celebration Tuesday, Aug. 2. There will be food, safety information, VIN etching of electronics and more. For more information, call 718-520-9311.

The 113th Precinct’s National Night Out will be held Tuesday, Aug. 2, at Baisley Pond Park — North Conduit Avenue, Baisley Boulevard South, Lake View Boulevard East — from 6 p.m.-10 p.m. There will be food, refreshments, a live DJ and games. For more information, call 718-712-7733.

The 114th Precinct will host its National Night Out Celebration on Shore Boulevard between Ditmars Boulevard and Astoria Park South Tuesday, Aug. 2, from 5 p.m.-8 p.m. The event will feature a dunk tank, horse rides for children, crime prevention hand-outs and more. The National Night Out celebration for the 115th Precinct will be held Tuesday, Aug. 2, from 6 p.m.-9 p.m. at Northern Park, on Northern Boulevard between 93rd and 94th avenues.
