Campaign cash disclosed

With Election Day on the horizon, candidates have filed their last round of paperwork for campaign finance disclosures.
All candidates filed their statements on September 2.
For the 23rd Assembly district race, Phil Goldfeder’s closing balance was $109,648.74 and Jane Deacy’s was $34,791.20.
The district encompasses Ozone Park, Lindenwood, Howard Beach, Broad Channel and the Rockaways.
In the 27th Assembly district, Michael Simanowitz had $85,052.15, while his opponent, Marco DeSena had $9,463.50, according to the New York State Board of Elections.
The district includes College Point, Forest Hills, Kew Gardens Hills, Kew Gardens, Briarwood and the northern part of Richmond Hill.
In the lone City Council race for the 28th district seat, Councilmember Ruben Wills’ estimated campaign balance was $50,653. Allan Jennings Jr. had $71,852, Clifton Stanley Diaz had $661 and Michael Duvalle had $551, according to the New York City Campaign Finance Board.
The 28th district encompasses Richmond Hill, Rochdale Village and South Jamaica.
