REGO PARK — Two men are wanted in connection with a pair of armed robberies in Rego Park and Jamaica, according to police.
The stickups began Nov. 19 at about 7:20 p.m., when two men walked into a Mobile Gas Station at 96-27 Queens Blvd. and demanded cash, according to the NYPD.
The men were both brandishing semi-automatic handguns when they made off with $1,000, but not before also removing property from two employees and a customer, police said.
The men fled northbound on 63rd Road, but allegedly did not end their spree.
Just half an hour later, police said the same two men entered a Gulf Gas Station, at 138-19 Hillside Ave. in Jamaica, placed a soda on the counter and asked for a pack of cigarettes.
When the clerk opened the register, the two men drew their guns and pocketed $1,500 before fleeing, police said.
Police released a surveillance video of the suspects.
