Community Board 2 has a busy week lined up, with its monthly meeting on Thursday, Mar. 1 followed by a cycling forum on Saturday, Mar. 3, both at Sunnyside Community Services.
At Thursday’s meeting, residents will hear an update from Capt. Terry O’Toole, the 108th Precinct’s executive officer, on local crime.
In addition, Board 2 will vote on three sidewalk café licenses-for Sean Og Enterprises, located at 60- 02 Woodside Ave. in Woodside; for Bucharest Restaurant, at 43-45 40th St. in Sunnyside, and for Claret’s Wine Bar, at 46-02 Skillman Ave. in Sunnyside.
The meeting will begin at 7 p.m.
Then on Saturday, representatives of the city Department of Transportation, Board 2 and City Council Member Jimmy Van Bramer’s office will hear ideas toward improving the area bicycle network.
The meeting will run from 10 a.m. to noon.
Sunnyside Community Services is located at 43-31 39th St. The 40th Street 7 train station is located nearby.
