The driver of this school bus was injured after his vehicle struck two vehicles, then lost control and rammed through the brick fence of a Jackson Heights home last Wednesday afternoon, May 9, Fire Department sources said. Reportedly, the crash occurred at around noon at the corner of 82nd Street and 31st Avenue. Members of Engine companies 289 and 307, Ladder companies 138 and 154, Rescue 4; Ladder Co. 116, Battalion 46, the 115th Precinct and EMS units responded to the scene. The bus driver was transported by paramedics to Elmhurst Hospital Center for treatment of injuries that were not lifethreatening. No other individuals were reportedly injured.
