A 50-year-old pedestrian was killed and a motorcyclist left in critical condition after a crash on the “Boulevard of Death” early Sunday, police said.
The NYPD said a man was attempting to cross Queens Boulevard at 44th Street in Sunnyside when he was allegedly struck by the 2001 Kawasaki driven by a 33-year-old man at about 4 a.m.
When emergency responders arrived, they pronounced the pedestrian dead at the scene, and the motorcyclist was taken to Elmhurst Hospital Center, where he was listed in critical condition, according to police.
Neither of the men was identified by authorities and the investigation was ongoing, the NYPD said.
