QUEENS VILLAGE — A 25-year-old man was sentenced to up to nine years in prison this week for sex trafficking a teenage runaway, the Queens district attorney said.
Christopher Whitfield was sentenced to three to nine years Tuesday by state Supreme Court Justice Barry Kron after pleading guilty two weeks earlier to prostituting a 15-year-old girl, District Attorney Richard Brown said.
According to Brown, Whitfield forced the young girl to have sex with multiple men at various locations between March and April 2012 and collected money from her.
