ILIJA ZURKA of Ridgewood, died on Monday, June 2, at the age of 72. Native of Grebenac, Serbia, he was the beloved husband of Marija, devoted father of Jon Zurka and Cornelia Zurka. A wake will be held on Saturday and Sunday, June 7-8, from 2 to 5pm and from 7 to 9pm at the Morton Funeral Home/ Ridgewood Chapels, 663 Grandview Ave., Ridgewood, NY 11385. Services offered at Descent of the Holy Spirit Romanian Orthodox Church by Reverend Viorel Dimitrescu. Interment will be Monday June 9 at Lutheran All Faiths Cemetery.
