Track & Field Squad Picks Up Medals
The St. Margaret’s/Resurrection Flyers Track team from Middle Village finished strong in the Marty Enright Sectional Championship held recently at Alley Pond Park.
Receiving the Gold Medal were Junior Girls Aiofe Kenny; Zara McPartland; Ainara Higgins; and Lili Cathersal.
Finishing with the Silver Medal were Senior Boys Luc Cathersal; Daniel Loncar; and Alex LaForest. The Junior Boys winners were Michael Hubert; Jorge Aguilar; Owen Kelly; John Ostling Joseph Browne; Philip Siciliano; and John Boger.
The final Silver medal recipients were Seamus Girdusky; Kasper Niepokoj; Ricky Hubert; Shane Rooney; Victor Ostling; and Joshua Rivera.
Bronze medal recipients included Novice Boys Kevin Girdusky; Joseph Dieffenbacher; Andrew Kelly; Josiah Boulet; Kevin Isca and; Joshua Paz.
Other medal recipients were Senior girl, Ariel LaForest; Bantam Girls; Mackenzie Collin, Claire Rooney; and Emily Browne.
The final recipients were Novice Girls Leana Ruiz and Miakoda Bonilla.
Coaches, Jeff Boger, Mark Codd, Dennis Fey, Teresa Hubert, Mike Loftus and George McCarthey congratulated all the runners on their tremendous efforts and accomplishments.
