The woman who hurled a wrench through the window of an art space in Long Island City was arrested after she returned for a second attack.

In the first attack on Feb. 12, the front window of the Flux Factory was shattered at about 11 a.m. Since then, the organization has been asking for donations to repair it — and then the vandal struck again.

The 30-year-old woman responsible for the damage, whose identity was not released, came back to the location at 39-31 29th St. at 2:18 a.m., removed a drain pipe from the front of the building and threw it at the same window.

Roe said employees at the art space called 911 and police arrested her. During her arrest, the woman proceeded to yell out, “I own the building. Let go of me, officers. I need to fix this window on my building,” according to Roe.

An NYPD spokesperson said she was arrested on criminal mischief charges.

Several people have asked Roe if the woman is from the neighboring women’s shelter at the former Verve Hotel, but he confirmed that she is not a resident there.

“I have never experienced something like this before,” Roe said. “It’s like a Stephen King novel.”

He also said the woman may have researched the art space online because she made comments about a future event.

“[She was] aware of an event that was coming up and seems to think that she was entitled to come inside even though we were not open to the public at that time.”

Donations have been steadily coming in and Roe said the organization hopes to replace the window soon. To donate to the Flux Factory, click here.
