Join us in a celebrating the Year of the Monkey with Chinese and Korean music, dance, arts and food! - Learn How to Make and Sample Songpyeon and Soo Jung Gua

Songpeyeon is a traditional Korean rice cake eaten as a dessert. Customarily, it’s made with the rice of the first harvest of the year. Soo Jung Gua is a dessert drink made with cinnamon, ginger and dried persimmon.
First 30 customers on a first-come, first-served basis, starting at 10:15 a.m. will be given entry tickets. Please note that anyone who loses his/her ticket will not be allowed in. Food is limited. - Chinese Seal Carving Demonstration
Noon
Seal carving is a traditional form of art that originated in China in which one cuts a pattern into the bottom face of the seal. It dates back to the Shang Dynasty. Ming Liang Lu, disciple of the Master Ju Lai Chen, will be the instructor.
The first lucky 10 customers will be selected to obtain free carved seals. First 10 customers on a first-come, first-served basis starting at noon will be given tickets. Please note that anyone who loses his/her ticket will not be given a stamp. Supplies are strictly limited! - Soprano Soh Young and Tenor Young Hwan Kim

Korean-born Soh Young Lee-Segredo, singer, storyteller, multicultural artist and educator, and her musicians will perform traditional, contemporary and classic Korean songs. - “Red,” a Performance by Ba Ban Chinese Music Society
3 p.m.
“Red” is the Chinese color of happiness and the color of the Chinese New Year. Following the successful productions of “Shanghai Golden Songs from the 1930s” and “The Legend of the Moonlight,” Ba Ban Chinese Music Society of New York will bring the audience another beautiful concert, along with the red ribbon and festive music. Our performers, Ba Ban Chinese Music Society, wish you an auspiciousness and joyful Year of the Monkey.
