Man dies in early morning shooting in St. Albans, police say

Gunshots rang out this morning in St. Albans, leaving one man dead, cops said.

According to police, officers from the 113th Precinct rushed to a 911 call of a shooting in front of 189-03 Liberty Ave. at 5:56 on Saturday morning.

As police arrived on the scene they found a 32-year-old male, unconscious and unresponsive, with gunshot wounds to the torso, law enforcement agents said. EMS units brought the victim to Queens General Hospital, where he was pronounced deceased.

No arrests have been made as of yet and the investigation is ongoing.
